Once we have the hive exposed, we’ll use humane methods to extract and contain the hive so that they may be relocated to an apiary afterwards where they can recover and continue to thrive in our environment. Once the hive has been removed, if we go through the interior, we’ll place aluminum screening to prevent additional critters from entering the premises afterwards, if we go through the exterior, we’ll place plastic sheeting to protect the structure against the elements of nature.
It is our advisement that the structure remains open for 2 to 5 days to allow adequate ventilation to remove excess bee pheromones which in turn will help prevent bees from returning in the future. After five days, you shouldn’t see any residual bee activity and should be able to proceed forward with repairs.
REPAIRS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF REMOVAL.
Technicians will offer a FREE ONSITE ESTIMATE at end of services performed to determine best options for repairs ensuring protection against future infestations.
